Michael Hodgson

Michael Hodgson founded Hodgson Capital in 2016. He has more than 18 years of experience across M&A, corporate finance, capital markets, principal investment and operating leadership.
Under Michael's leadership, Hodgson Capital advises owners, boards and investors on transactions where judgement, preparation and disciplined execution matter. The firm's work spans acquisitions, disposals, capital raising, public listings, shareholder transitions, management buyouts and public-to-private transactions.
Michael remains directly involved throughout each mandate. His perspective as an advisor, executive and principal investor helps him assess both the transaction and the commercial realities that follow it.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree with Finance Honours and Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
